You don’t know what your missing.
That song had been playing in my head for the past couple of days and I just can’t seem to get it out. I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I had ever heard it and then it hit me. When the girls were little they use to watch Richard Scary. That’s it, I yelled. That’s where I heard it. Kinda freaked my family out a little bit there, but they are doing better now. So over the last few days I have really been thinking about the words of the song and how they apply to me.
Stop: Stop what you are doing and enjoy some of the time that the Lord has blessed you with. The dirty house will be there tomorrow.
Look: Take time to look at your children right this moment and see what they are doing. Mine are peacefully sleeping.
Listen: Listen to what the Lord is trying to say to you today, and everyday. Sometimes we fail to listen with our whole heart, I know I do. Listen to what you kids are saying. Sometimes it may sound silly or totally non important, but to them it means everything.
So take this time to stop, look and listen to see what you might be missing.
