I found this really neat project online (can’t remember where for the life of me) so I decided to try it. I usually just pile stuff that we no longer want by the door in a bag, and as you can see my bag has seen better days.
So I began working on my donation station to replace the broken down bag. This is what you need to get started. A big sturdy box, something to cover it with ( I chose brown paper, but you can use anything), and tape.
Here is the finished project.
I decorated it with paws since we are constantly giving things away to the local thrift store that supports the local animal shelter. I might change it later and use wrapping paper that I bought a while back that is silver with pink ribbons for breast cancer awareness. You never can tell what I might do and when I might do it.
So there you have it. Now go and make your own donation station and get rid of all of that unwanted and no longer needed stuff. We empty this box on a weekly average. I like getting rid of stuff. As the box says, “If you don’t need it, Give it!”
If you make one I would love for you to post a link back to it so I can see your creation. 🙂
