The oldest daughter officially started taking typing this year. She has mostly done all of her learning on the computer, but my dad thought that she should learn to use a typewriter. So he was kind enough to go out and buy her one. It is an Underwood typewriter manufactured on November 9, 1915. The ribbon that is currently in it still works a little so she has been able to use it.
I can’t imagine having to give up my cordless keyboard and having to use something like that all the time. I think I would give up typing.
