Boy, do I have a lot of catching up to do on my blog. Here is a little run down of what has been going on around the funny farm.
We took almost a week off from school after the loss of my dog. I am just now able to look at pictures of her and not cry. I still miss her terribly though.
Saturday Oct. 6 was dh’s birthday. I made him a pretzel ice cream cake. I made pictures of it, but have not had time to upload them to my computer.
Monday Oct. 8th we celebrated the anniversary of dh’s return from Iraq 2 years ago. I know that is kind of a crazy celebration, but hey, we are kind of crazy around here.
I also got to go and visit with my friend Teresa on Monday as well. She will be leaving for Texas on Monday. I’m gonna miss her.
Yesterday I went for my yearly mamogram and found out that I have to have a biopsy on a small lump that was found. They are almost positive that it is nothing to worry about, but they still want to take a biopsy. After the doctor dh took me shopping in Knoxville and bought me 13 large size rolls of dishcloth yarn. It was on sale for 1.89 and I had a 20% off coupon for my total purchase. Geez, I wonder what people are going to be getting for Christmas? My plan was to make socks for family members, but that got thrown out the window around June or so. I haven’t made a pair of socks since February. Yikes!!
Today I have been having a little back trouble, so I have been moving a little slow. I did manage to make it through today’s Algebra lesson and get 2 loads of laundry washed and hung out. The weather here is getting cooler, but not too cool to hang out laundry.
Do you hang out your laundry?
