Last night I had the strangest dream. I dreamed that there was a huge rat in our outbuilding. Dh decided to set a trap for it. After doing so we came inside. I then went to open our pantry door only to see this rat which was about 12 inches long sitting inside my pantry. Upon opening the door it ran out of the pantry and into our second bathroom. I quickly closed the door. A few minutes later the rat sticks it’s head out from under the door and I grab a broom to shove it back in. The rat then decides to run out of the bathroom and under me! I jumped. Literally. I jumped so hard that I woke up from my dream. I also managed to hurt my back even worse. Stupid rat! I scared Dh to death. He would have been even more scared if he would have seen that huge rat. Amazing what things we dream about.
Do you have strange dreams?

I’ve not dreamed of rats but mice/shrews and ants yes. I pray regularly my sleep will be restful and uneventful.
I hope that you have no more of these dreams so that your back can heal.
Yes, and I hate it.
The daughter can not eat grain/carbs or sugar anymore, and she has been having weird dreams about fresh xxx powdered donuts.
I have very strange dreams. My worst dreams are about snakes. I was having a very happy dream the other night until a dumb snakes went between my legs, and, like you, I jumped. It is so irritating.
I am sorry that you hurt your back even worse. I was wondering how that has been feeling.
I don’t usually remember my dreams. There have been a few that have lingered in my memory, but not many.
I hope you are able to get some good rest & your back heals soon. I can’t imagine being in constant pain like that.
Not about rats……ewww. I’m so sorry that the dream made you hurt you back more….Sounded like the description Darlene Deibler Rose gave about being caught in WWII. I might have to see if I can find that one for you to listen to…..great testimony..:)
Once I hurt my back while fighting roaches in my sleep. I woke up and I was standing on the bed, swinging my pillow around, and yelling like a crazy person. I was really glad The Man was working nights that week.
