Well here we are at the end of another day. Dh is working late so I have had time to go into my cleaning mode and get most of the house clean. I still have a few things to put away that came out of the bathroom and won’t go back in. We are almost finished with our remodeling of the bathroom. All that is left is to paint the vanity. That is my job and I am not doing very well at it. Not that I can’t paint, it’s just that I keep putting it off.
I have spent most of my day it seems at the kitchen window watching hummingbirds. I put up my first hummingbird feeder ever and can’t take my eyes off of it. I have to say that I am not a bird person. I am terrified of the things. Long story. But this year I have had fun feeding all of the birds and watching them all over the yard. We have three feeders and one hummingbird feeder. I love looking out into our backyard as we are surrounded by trees and it is so quiet and peaceful. That is until the girls go out and get into the pool and start making all kinds of noise.
We have 3 official days of school left. However we are going to still do some work over the summer. Gotta keep those brains sharp. I will also be going to my very first used curriculum fair this weekend. I am so exceited. I only have a few things left that I need to purchase. I have to get a history program for the youngest and english for the oldest. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Do you have your curriculum planned for next year?

Only for the daughter. I need to get her math. I will be doing that next pay, as there are 3 pays this month.
I also need to get everything for the boy.
Thanks to dear Barbra-Sue I’ve managed to get a few things that we need for next year but I’m not done yet. Just need to sit down at the computer and get it all figured out based on what I’ve got and what I still need.
Glad that you’re almost done with the bathroom.
I need to get the kids’ books. I already know what I am getting. I just need to buy it.
I love hummingbirds. My parents have a hummingbird feeder on their porch. If you sit really still the bird will actually perch on the feeder right above your head. They have the tinyist, little feet.
I’ve already bought all of our curriculum.
I’ve even finished all the planning.
Have fun at the curriculum fair!
I’ve already bought most of our stuff for next year.
I am glad you are enjoying your hummingbirds. They’re so tiny that it’s hard to be afraid of them.
You should add a bird house to your yard, and see how busy your feeder (and your yard) gets! My hubby and the kids built a double-decker sparrow house which is used year-round–and we get snow here in Eastern WA. We also have another house on a stand which has pairs of blackbirds fighting over it every spring, and usually whoever wins brings up two nest-fulls per spring. It’s fun the watch the parents come back and forth to feed the babies!
