Today I will be taking the girls to my mom’s house for the weekend. They will be working in the hay fields. Hard work is good for them. So it will be just me and dh. We have the evening all planned out. After he gets home from work we will be going to Lowes to buy items to finish the bathroom. We are so ready to get that room finished. I am also going to look at getting a new freezer. The one I have is ancient and is NOT frost free. Can you say freecycle.
Today I will also be working on a sock that I have been knitting since March. I just can’t seem to get that thing finished. I also need to make more dish cloths. I love using them. The last one I made was too small though. So I am using it for a pot holder type thingy. I like making dish cloths because they are quick and easy. I had plans to make some for Christmas gifts, but I seem to be off to a bad start.
Do you get your Christmas gifts done early or are you last minute?

I like making dishclothes for the same reason….fast & easy. Perfect for my short attention span.
well I do have Camryn’s xmas or birthday gift depending on when I decide to give it to here. I bought it in Jan.
Gosh, I wish we could have a night without children. we so need one.
Oh, a night w/o children is wonderful. For me it is hard finding a way to get both kids gone at the same time.
I’ll have that in July but hubby will also be gone.
