Yesterday the girls and I went to the park after school and attempted to play tennis. I am so glad no one was around. Then the girls rode their bikes and played. I think we would have had more fun if it wouldn’t have been so hot. There wasn’t much shade and we have high humidity here.
After we got home I helped prepare dinner (dh grilled chicken for us) and I made salad with homemade french dressing and broccoli and noodles. Afterwards I attempted to make monkeybread, but my recipe said to bake it for 30 minutes, and let me tell you, that was about 10 minutes too long for this particular recipe. I will have to try it again though. It still tastes good. It didn’t burn or anything, just kind of got a little hard around the outside. Our oldest loves to cook, and want’s to grow up to be like Chef Dean, so it makes her happy when she sees me cook something that doesn’t turn out quite right.
I went and got my hair cut yesterday, same cut as always, but this time she cut it a little too short. I feel so funny. It will be better in a couple of weeks since my hair grows kind of fast.
Have you ever gotten a hair cut that you didn’t like?

So where did you get the recipe for monkey bread?
Yes I’ve gotten a bad haircut now and again but like you didn’t have to live with it long as it grew out quickly.
I have gotten a few bad haircuts but the most horrible was when I let my friend talk me into cutting it short. I HATE short hair on me. I look at the pictures and think, “I will never do that again”!
Krysie got 2 really bad haircuts at a cost cutters in Alaska so we quit going there altogether.
When I was 11, I was able to sit on my hair. My mother watched Dorothy Hammil in the Winter Olympics……the next day, my licensed beautician mother lopped off all my hair into a Dorothy Hammil…..ooooh it was ugly!!!
