Here we are at the end of another day and all we have accomplished is nothing. Well sort of. Our schoolwork has suffered this past week for various reasons and the house has been a wreck due to all of the projects going on. We finished putting in the fireplace (everything except hooking up the gas, my brother will do that later) and it looks wonderful. I will post a picture if I can ever get it resized. The schoolroom is almost finished as well. All we have to do is put down the trim. Not sure when that will happen as dh will be leaving soon for Arizona and will be gone 2 weeks. It took us a week to clean up all the junk that came out of that room. It is now a clean, functionable room. I love it.
I am also trying to work on some different ideas for history. I am just not happy with what the girls are getting from their book. Therefore I want to try to come up with some things on my own. Not sure how that is going to work out, but we are going to give it a try.
Well dh is back from town and wants something sweet to eat so I think I will go and make fried cherry pies.
